Utterly gobsmacking. A doctor, who thinks the Swine flu vaccine programme unnecessary, is more concerned that the anti-vaccine movement is having a field day, because the Australian flu vaccine is causing high fevers and seizures with at least one kiddo in ICU? Hello? Wake up mate. Just WHO is it that parents of children affected by vaccines in any country, usually end up turning to, when your little (uncessary) ideas turn to custard, eh?!! By and large, unless the medical profession actually has to do something to try to save a child's life, parents whose children suffer vaccine reactions usually have the surgery door slammed on their backsides, as they walk out with the typical comment of denial, ringing in their ears... "It's coincidental!"
These parents often end up on the doorsteps of the anti-vaccine people, who in order to survive the constant barbs and slander from vaccine defenders, have usually done their homework, and usually know how parents can attempt to get effective treatment, and maybe if they are lucky, ... "justice".
We, who have chosen not to vaccinate our children, are left to pick up the pieces for parents who believed YOU, therefore didn't do any homework; didn't think about the issues involved, and whose children paid the price.
Doesn't that strike you as somewhat ironic? Any "field day" the anti-vaccine lobby decides to make of this, like this blog, is entirely deserved. Welcome to the real world.
For once, you people are being forced to get off your backsides and face the music, and all you can think of, is what "the other side will say about it"?
Well, that just puts your priorities right into perspective, doesn't it.
