Whooping cough - the future

Predicting the future of whooping cough is pretty simple. It will follow the mantra of the past, because to do otherwise would involve massive loss of face.

Mainstream treatment: More of the same. Antibiotics on antibiotics without regard to the fact that they don't work and cause far bigger problems. A continual refusal to look at any treatment that doesn't come from the "Merck Manual".

Vaccines. More booster shots, maybe even annual shots cradle to grave. Maybe the addition of an intranasal at birth on the pretense that this is a tide over.

Telling the truth? Hardly likely.

Pillorying non-vaccinating parents. Yes, by the ton full. Compulsory vaccination and compulsory treatment are two issues which may well take centre stage before long.

The question is, "What are YOU going to do about it?"
